The Critical Theory Workshop / Atelier de Théorie Critique is a proud co-sponsor of the World Marxist Review (WMR). The WMR is a quarterly, peer-reviewed journal published by Canut Press International and co-sponsored by the Innovative Marxist Studies Section of the World Association for Political Economy and Northwestern Polytechnical University in China. In the spirit of upholding fundamental principles and breaking new ground in Marxist theories, the journal aims to solve major theoretical and practical problems in the fields of global economy, people’s livelihood, politics, culture, civilization, ecology, the military, international relations, and social movements, thus objectively analyzing erroneous views in various fields, especially criticizing the fallacies and behaviors of the neo-imperialist and hegemonic alliances in the current conjuncture, so as to promote consistency and innovation in Marxist theories in various countries and around the world.
Call for Papers for the World Marxist Review
The journal publishes articles on a wide range of important topics, including: studies on Marxist classical works and its developing history by Marxists in various countries, the latest advances and scientific innovations in Marxist theories around the globe, the main theories of contemporary parties in various countries, and the history and current state of the international socialist movement, so as to promote consistency and innovation in Marxist theories in various countries and around the world. In the spirit of upholding fundamental principles and breaking new ground in Marxist theories, the journal aims to solve major theoretical problems in the fields of global economy, people’s livelihood, politics, culture, civilization, ecology, military, international relations, and social movements, thus objectively analyzing erroneous views in various fields, especially criticizing the fallacies and behaviors of the neo-imperialist and hegemonic alliances in the contemporary world.
Experts are welcome to provide papers or recommend papers ( which are limited to latest unpublished papers in non-English media). The length of a general paper should not exceed 12,000 words, and short reviews should be no less than 2,500 words. Email address for the submission of papers is worldmarxismreview@vip.163.com. Paper contributors or referees will receive free electronic copies of both year 2024 and 2025 of the Quarterly, regardless of whether their articles are adopted or not.
